SESAME ENGLISH : ESL FOR CHILDREN : FAMILY & HOME 1

Designed to help teach English as a Second Language. This series features Tingo, an energetic, newly created Muppet. Tingo, who only recently arrived in this country, introduces conversational English through adventures with his friend, Niki, a typical teenage girl. Each program follows a simple storyline that uses humour, physcial action and music to appeal to children while introducing basic English expressions, vocabulary and sentence structures. The series also includes classic Sesame Street Muppets, animation and live-action segments. Tingo speaks in English as well as Spanish to clarify and reinforce storylines and language concepts.

All in the Family -- Tingo meets Niki's family. Children will practice using conversational phrases and learn vocabulary for the common family members. Young learners will also discover how to use "This is" and "It's" as specific conventions of language. Kids are introduced to the letter "M". Includes Zoe and Selena presenting the number "1."

Yes, Baby -- Tingo takes care of his friend, Niki's baby cousin. Children will learn common expressions, including "Good night," "Please" and "No". Young learners will also practice phrases such as "It's time to..." and "Let's..." and will discover that expressions like "Wake up" and "Go to sleep" are phrases that elicit physical responses. Kids are introduced to the number "2" and Big Bird presents the letter "B".
