It best follows This is Me : ESL Wonderbook Workbook #1, but it will also stand on its own. Concentrates at first on survival English. Terms for street safety, school rules and activities, colours, lunch room vocabulary, numbers, money, clothing, calendar, time and weather are covered. Basic language is also given for playing games, making friends and paying compliments. The final pages on animals incorporate practice with verbs, adjectives, prepositions and common present tense sentence structures.
